Lightning, 6th May 2011
An approaching storm over the refinery at Fawley on Southampton Water/Solent yields some impressive Inter-cloud lightning strikes. The following was taken from the shoreline at Titchfield Haven with the tripod (somehow!) setup from inside the car with the Canon 40D perched (just) through the window, using the 24-105IS lens and an exposure of 4 seconds at F8:
Fairly amazed I managed to get a shot here given the hazards of rain/lightning/local boy racers/fishing that cropped up during my attempts(!)
